Last night we had a full house for the talk by Dr. Drew Hemment from FutureEverything. He discussed the Future Everything Festival, a yearly event for art, music and technology. The audience liked the Loca project incorporating surveillance and SMS technology and the Eyewriter, a DIY software and hardware kit that tracks the eye moments of paraplegics and allows them draw on a computer.

We have some exciting new equipment in, including the Miller Dynasty 200DX TIG welder, another license of SolidWorks (Premium, this time) with advanced motion simulation, FEA, and CFD capabilities, two copies of Rhino(ceros) design software, and a National Instruments multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) system with LabView Developer Suite Core software – see our Equipment page for more…
